New Haven, CT

Surrounded by world-class architecture, Color Impact 2020 will be based at the Yale University Campus, location of the Faber Birren Library, and former home to many famous color educators including Josef Albers.

Daily sessions will take place at Kroon Hall, a brief walk from the dormitories. Rooms will be available at the University in Pauli Murray College or at local hotels within a short walk or drive to Kroon.

Continental Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily. New Haven is home to excellent restaurants of a wide variety. Consider signing up for dinner with one of our interest groups and continue your learning and networking after the day is over.

Getting to New Haven

New Haven is served by Amtrak from points north, south and east, Metro North from New York City and CTrail’s Hartford Line (and the Bradley Flyer bus) from Bradley International Airport. All trains stop at New Haven Union Station, which is a short taxi ride to the dorms.

From Bradley International Airport (BDL, Hartford-Springfield), the most frequently used airport, take the Bradley Flyer bus to Hartford and change to either Amtrak or CTrail (less expensive, runs more often). Alternatively, take a cab to Windsor Locks train station and transfer to either CTrail or Amtrak.

Limited flights are available directly into Tweed Airport on American Airlines. From Boston Logan Airport, take the Boston MBTA Silver Line to South Station where you can then take Amtrak to New Haven. Additional information on area airports can be found here.
