IACC-NA Annual Meeting - Tuesday, June 9 at 12noon
Lindsay Thivierge is a designer, educator, and strategist. As President of the IACC-NA and Director of Operations at the AICCE she is continuously working to research and develop topics that focus not only on the many facets of color effects but how to use and apply that knowledge to support the human condition. Although her original studies led her into politics she began teaching and traveling overseas, where she quickly recognized how art, design, nature, and most specifically color, communicates on a much deeper level. These passions led to an apprenticeship as a graphic designer under the direction of Art Bemis where she focused on functional color application through graphic communications, way-finding, and business interiors. As part of her educational journey she studied under Frank Mahnke and the IACC where she found her home among the art and science worlds of color.
Lindsay has worked on color development and applications in large corporations, government organizations, and local businesses. Her passion to learn keeps her driving towards success and empowering women in the workplace while building cohesive and collaborative environments.
In 2019 she obtained an MBA with a concentration in sustainability in hopes of using color curriculum to further strides in the realm of environmental and social responsibility in architecture and design. Her current concentrations revolve around LEED and WELL certifications as well as an ever-growing love for design in all its aspects.
